Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name could be also stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. She has recorded several high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that are widely loved. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway from her side, gave it some more recognition. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft and being intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to pursue music solely for pleasure or for the sake of growing, but that she must pursue it. Her parents inspired her to write. She cites renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in her influences, along with an affinity for Bjork's style. She decided to start performing the songs she wrote publicly after her mother suggested that they could help people not be famous with her work but to make those around them see their importance and the ways they could impact the world. She began playing the piano at age six and writing music at age nine. Her family didn't be aware of this until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora's fame was not her goal. She just loves to write songs. According to her music, it is the most effective method of expressing anything.
